A four-week journey back to yourself

HEALED BY THE QUR'AN

The Maryam Mindset

A 4-week journey of healing, strength & yaqeen

Surah Maryam is more than a story — it’s an invitation to find yourself through the Qur’an. Over four weeks of tafsir, tadabbur and guided reflection, we sit with one of the most powerful surahs for women and reconnect with Allah through its meaning.

About Al-Husnaa

Built from the inside out.

Al-Husnaa was founded by Maryam Alsamarrai — educator, community leader and mother of five — because she knew the gap that existed and refused to leave it unfilled. With over 16 years of experience in women’s empowerment, Islamic education and community development, she has designed and delivered initiatives that have transformed hundreds of lives.

"I built Al-Husnaa because I needed it too. A place where women could learn deeply, heal honestly, and lead boldly — without leaving their faith at the door."

Through Al-Husnaa, Maryam continues to make measurable impact across the UK and beyond — supporting women to rebuild confidence, young people to discover purpose, and families to strengthen their bonds through resilience and community engagement. As a mother of five girls and a leader in her own right, she brings both professional expertise and deep lived experience to everything she creates.

“Al-Husnaa gave me more than knowledge — it gave me a sense of self I didn’t know I was missing. The Alimah classes completely changed how I see my deen and my role as a woman.”
